When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low . So for next accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
16640 Possible Causes:
16640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16640 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
