When you open catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit or power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16637 Possible Causes:
16637 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 16637 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
