16635 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ or secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16635 Possible Causes:
16635 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16635 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
