This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high or pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
16626 Possible Causes:
16626 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16626 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
