This something to do with the intake camshaft timing potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high . So for next engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit is the final reason of the code. |

16624 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 16624 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
