Diagnosing engine bar with accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high and o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
16618 Possible Causes:
16618 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16618 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
