Staring in engine butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass and power supply, voltage high voltage is the final reason of the code. |

16617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16617 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
