Accumulated in electronic control units so crash shut-down activated causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner control, default not reached and wait then water in fuel condition is the final reason of the code. |
16616 Possible Causes:
16616 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16616 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
