Diagnosing engine bar with coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for torque support mount, open circuit or cylinder 9 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
16608 Possible Causes:
16608 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 16608 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
