This code were stamped on VW Engine case cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction also exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16605 Possible Causes:
16605 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
