Staring in engine camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so activation starter relay 2, open circuit you can see the exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich is the final reason of the code. |
16604 Possible Causes:
16604 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16604 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
