16603 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high or exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
16603 Possible Causes:
16603 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16603 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
