This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. also camshaft position signal output, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16602 Possible Causes:
16602 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16602 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
