The problem is about intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low or evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
16591 Possible Causes:
16591 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 16591 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
