Diameter in engine intake air heater "a", circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit or signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16587 Possible Causes:
16587 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16587 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
