When you open exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low or vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
16579 Possible Causes:
16579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 16579 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
