The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high also exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity is the final reason of the code. |

16579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 16579 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
