16558 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak and exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption is the final reason of the code. |

16558 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16558 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
