This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
16552 Possible Causes:
16552 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16552 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
