16549 Possible Causes:
16549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16549 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
