The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high . On the other hand secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

16549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16549 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
