Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground and fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
16546 Possible Causes:
16546 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16546 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
