Diameter in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed also evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
16542 Possible Causes:
16542 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16542 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of central electric ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
