This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low or nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16537 Possible Causes:
16537 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 16537 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
