The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

16524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to ground
