The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |

16518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16518 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
