Diagnosing engine bar with cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition switch run/start position, circuit low or please check dtc memory of brake system ecu is the final reason of the code. |
16517 Possible Causes:
16517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16517 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module, driver error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
