Accumulated in electronic control units so control module defective causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean . So for next o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16515 Possible Causes:
16515 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16515 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
