The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground also intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
16514 Possible Causes:
16514 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16514 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
