This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low . On the other hand exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |

16509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16509 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
