The problem is about accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16502 Possible Causes:
16502 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16502 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
