165 Description And Summary : |

When you open activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ and water in fuel sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
165 Possible Causes:
165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 165 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
