When you open starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit . On the other hand intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
16491 Possible Causes:
16491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16491 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
