Accumulated in electronic control units so intake air heater "a", circuit open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply, malfunction or change ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16488 Possible Causes:
16488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16488 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
