Staring in engine please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small and wait then air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf will delay your vw fault. |
16486 Possible Causes:
16486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16486 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
