This code were stamped on VW Engine case evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance and ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16486 Possible Causes:
16486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16486 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
