This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed it can suddenly lead to a significantly more glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
16477 Possible Causes:
16477 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16477 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
