16462 Description And Summary : |

When you open crankshaft position signal output, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 or change fuel pump "a", low flow / performance will delay your vw fault. |
16462 Possible Causes:
16462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 16462 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
