Staring in engine controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak also glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
16462 Possible Causes:
16462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16462 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
