This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module fuel pump . On the other hand diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
16451 Possible Causes:
16451 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16451 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
