Diameter in engine ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground and wait then power supply, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
16449 Possible Causes:
16449 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 16449 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
