The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault signal for back-up lights, open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance . So for next exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16448 Possible Causes:
16448 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16448 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
