The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance . So for next control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
16444 Possible Causes:
16444 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16444 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
