This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control motor, circuit low and wait then different wheel speed signals, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
16443 Possible Causes:
16443 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16443 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
