Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor electronic control module incorrect coding and accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
16442 Possible Causes:
16442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16442 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
