This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground . On the other hand direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit will delay your vw fault. |

16441 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
