16436 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance also water in fuel sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16436 Possible Causes:
16436 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16436 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
