16436 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant pump control, circuit range / performance or engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match is the final reason of the code. |
16436 Possible Causes:
16436 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 16436 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
