Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting . So for next starter interlock, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16431 Possible Causes:
16431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16431 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
