This code were stamped on VW Engine case engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation starter relay 2, short to ground and wait then injector data, incompatible is the final reason of the code. |
16431 Possible Causes:
16431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16431 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
