16429 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing activation starter relay 2, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles coolant pump control, circuit high and control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
16429 Possible Causes:
16429 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16429 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
