16428 Possible Causes:
16428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16428 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
