Diagnosing engine bar with reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation glow plug control module, electrical malfunction and data bus powertrain, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16428 Possible Causes:
16428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16428 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
