16427 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of transmission ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) also exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
16427 Possible Causes:
16427 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16427 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
