This code were stamped on VW Engine case o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high is the final reason of the code. |
16424 Possible Causes:
16424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 16424 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
