16423 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault signal for back-up lights, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean and wait then throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16423 Possible Causes:
16423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16423 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
