16421 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded and turbocharger speed sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16421 Possible Causes:
16421 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16421 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
